We accept credit and debit cards through secure payment partners like Link by Stripe. Your card payment is processed as a cryptocurrency purchase (USDC) behind the scenes — you don’t need to own or understand crypto.

Why this method? Lower fees, faster international payments, and better privacy — your purchase doesn’t show as “PharmacySpark” on statements.

Identity verification may be required. Due to international cryptocurrency regulations, processors must verify identities for certain transactions. That is standard for crypto platforms. Why KYC?

How does the payment process work?

Here’s what happens when you pay with a card:

  • Select “Pay with Card” at checkout
  • You’ll be redirected to our payment partner (like link.com for Stripe)
  • Enter your card details on their secure page (we never see them)
  • Complete identity verification if requested
  • Payment processes instantly

Time: 2–5 minutes total (including verification if needed)

Why is identity verification required?

It’s the law, not our choice.

When card payments are processed as cryptocurrency (which ours are), governments worldwide require strict identity verification to prevent money laundering and terrorism financing.

This applies to:

  • United States (FinCEN regulations)
  • European Union (5AMLD/6AMLD)
  • Australia (AML/CTF Act)
  • Most other countries

Our payment partners (Stripe, etc.) are legally required to verify identities—just like Coinbase, Binance, or any legitimate crypto platform. See also Why KYC?.

When will I need to verify?

Not every transaction requires verification. The payment processor decides based on:

  • Transaction amount (higher = more likely)
  • Your history (first-time = more likely)
  • Risk factors (unusual patterns)
  • Random compliance checks

You might skip verification if you’ve verified before, the transaction is small, or the payment pattern looks normal.

We have no control over when verification is required.

What information do I need to provide?

Light Verification (about 1–2 minutes): email, name, date of birth, address, and last 4 of SSN/Tax ID.

Full Verification (about 3–5 minutes): everything above, plus a government ID (license or passport) and a live video selfie.

The processor chooses light vs full — PharmacySpark does not control that decision.

Who sees my personal information?

PharmacySpark: NO. We never see your verification info. It goes directly to the payment processor. We don’t have access to your ID, selfie, or sensitive details.

Payment processors: YES. Stripe and similar processors handle verification. They’re regulated financial institutions that comply with GDPR, CCPA, and use bank-level encryption.

What we DO see: order details (items, shipping) and payment confirmation — nothing else.

How do I know the payment page is legitimate?

We use trusted payment providers including Stripe (Link.com) and other verified on-ramp providers (MoonPay, Transak, Ramp Network, etc.).

How to verify legitimacy:

  • Check the URL carefully — for Stripe it should be link.com, start with https://, and show a padlock. Watch for misspellings (llnk.com, llink.com).
  • Confirm Stripe’s Link domain at docs.stripe.com/payments/link — search for “link.com” on that official page.
  • Stop if you see browser security warnings, unprofessional design, unusual information requests, or pressure to act quickly — then contact us.
What appears on my Credit Card Statement?

Your statement will show the purchase of cryptocurrency — not “PharmacySpark” or medical product names.

What you’ll typically see: payment processor name (e.g. “STRIPE*”, “MOONPAY”, “TRANSAK”, “RAMP”), possibly “USDC purchase” or similar crypto terms, plus amount and date.

Example descriptors: “STRIPE*CRYPTO PURCHASE”, “MOONPAY 7242 USDC”, “RAMP NETWORK PURCHASE”.

Your bank will not see PharmacySpark, pharmacy-related terms, specific products, or medical information.
